Stade de Reims is a soccer team from Reims, France that will play in the top-tier of French soccer, Ligue 1, for the first time since 1979 next season following its second place finish in Ligue 2 at the end of the 2011/12 season.
Stade Reims’ most successful period came in the 1950â€²s and early 60â€²s when the club reached the final of the European Cup twice in that era, losing on both occasions to Real Madrid. France greats Raymond Kopa and Just Fontaine represented Stade Reims during this time.
Stade de Reims has launched its 2012/13 home, away and third kits from new equipment sponsor hummel. The club recently signed a deal with the Danish firm after a period of wearing Kappa gear. The Stade de Reims 12/13 hummel range will make its on the field debut during the club’s pre-season in July.
