Manchester United Nike 2012/13 Home Kit Teaser

Defending English Premier League champions Manchester United FC have released several preview images of their Nike 2012/13 home kit.

The new jersey is apparently part of what will be called the Gingham Collection and features a chequered that may recognize the city of Manchester’s cotton industry of the 1800s. It also carries a print on the inner neck that reads “Forged In Industry, Striving For Glory” which is possibly a nod to the club’s founding by workers at the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway in 1878.
