France Nike EURO 2012 Home Kit

1998 FIFA World Cup and EURO 2000 champions France have released their Nike home kit for this summer’s EURO 2012 tournament and for the 2012/13 international season. Its launch follows that of the France Nike EURO 2012 away kit in February.

According to the FFF and Nike: The new kit kit made its debut in the prestigious “quartier des Célestins” of the Republican Guard in the heart of Paris.

To celebrate the launch and honour the French National football team, the Republican Guard performed a special military parade on horseback to music inspired by the French national anthem; creating a powerful image that unites both the athletes and the Republican Guards as defenders of French values.

Camille Abily (Olympique Lyon), Laure Boulleau (PSG), Yohan Cabaye (Newcastle United), Gael Kakuta (Dijon), Mamadou Sakho (PSG), Gilles Sunu (Lorient), Patrice Evra (Manchester United), Mathieu Valbeuna (Olympique Marseille), Alou Diarra (Olympique Marseille) and Hervin Ongenda (PSG) all proudly wore the new kit amongst a group from the cavalry regiment, under a roof designed by Eiffel.

France is pooled with co-hosts Ukraine, Sweden and England in Group D of EURO 2012 and will be looking to improve upon disappointing runs at EURO 2008 and the 2010 FIFA World Cup that resulted in group stage exits.
