English Championship side Ipswich Town has unveiled its Mitre 2012/13 home and away kits. According to the club’s website:
Town have launched the home and away kit for next season, with four of the Blues appearing in a promotional video to back the new look.
Carlos Edwards, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Arran Lee-Barrett and Josh Carson ‘starred’ in the production that was filmed at Easton Farm Park , with the four joined by a wide range of co-stars!…
The new kits have certainly gone down well with the players with Carlos adding: “I really like the red stripe. I think that works well against the blue and the shirt is certainly comfortable to wear as well. Hopefully it can prove to be a winning look for us on the pitch next season.”
Team-mate Josh Carson was equally impressed with the black and white away shirt, saying: “It’s a classic look. I think the fans will really take to both kits. Making the video was a great laugh as well. I can’t wait to see the out-takes!”
All home and away shirts will all carry the ‘three stars’, which depict the three major trophies won by the Club (the 1961/62 Football League, 1977/78 FA Cup and 1980/81 UEFA Cup).
