Cruzeiro Olympikus 2012 Home and Away Kits

Once the team of players such as Alex, Dida, Ronaldo, Rivaldo and Ramires, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube is a Brazilian soccer club from the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais founded on January 2, 1921. The club currently campaigns in the top-tier of Brazilian soccer — the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A — and finished in 16th place in last season’s league.

Twice Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, four times Copa do Brasil and twice Copa Libertadores champions, Cruzeiro ranks amongst Brazil’s most popular sides. The club is currently engaged in the regional Campeonato Mineiro 2012 where its is in second place in the competition’s table.

On Tuesday evening, the Cruzeiro Olympikus 2012 home and away kits were officially launched at the Mineirão in Belo Horizonte. Os Celestes (The Celestials) have switched technical sponsors from Olympikus after several seasons wearing Reebok gear.

Current Cruzeiro players Léo, Fabio, Leandro Guerreiro and Wellington Paulista were on hand to model the new uniforms. The club’s new leisure and training lines were also presented by several models including a couple of Brazilian soccer babes.

The white Cruzeiro 2012 away kit is expected to see action when the club meets Caldense in Campeonato Mineiro play on March 18th. The blue home jersey will be worn against América a week later.
