Video: Liverpool 6 – Brighton 1 (English FA Cup Highlights)

Liverpool routed Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion by a score of 6-1 to advance to the quarter-finals of the English FA Cup. Manager Kenny Dalglish’s side will meet fellow English Premier League team Stoke City on March 17th in their next tie of the competition.

Brighton suffered from three own goals from Liam Bridcutt (2) and Lewis Dunk while Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel and strikers Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez netted for the hosts in a one-sided affair. Kazenga LuaLua had tied the match 1-1 with Brighton’s lone goal of the match in the 17th.
