Soccer Babes Present the América-MG Finta 2012 Home and Away Kits

América Futebol Clube (usually referred to as América Mineiro, América or América-MG) is a Brazilian soccer team from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, founded on April 30, 1912.

The club returned to the top-tier of Brazilian soccer, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, after a lean period in the 2000s that saw them fall as far down as the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C (third division) in 2011. However, a 19th place league finish saw América relegated to  Série B at the end of the season.

Over the years has América-MG has featured several highly rated Brazilian internationals including FIFA World Cup winners Tostão and Gilberto Silva.

On Friday night, América Futebol Clube  launched its 2012 kit collection including its new home and away strips and training range. On hand for the presentation were several Brazilian soccer babes along with a host of current and former América players.

The América-MG 2012 kits are provided by Brazilian firm Finta. Found in 1987, Finta has been the technical sponsor of Brazilian giants such as Vasco da Gama, Corinthians and Botafogo. The brand got some international exposure in when it was worn by the Trinidad and Tobago national team during most of the qualification run that saw the Caribbean team qualify for the 2006 FIFA World Cup.
