Universidad de Chile adidas 2012 Home and Away Kits / Camisetas

Club de Fútbol Profesional de la Universidad de Chile (usually called “La U” or “Universidad de Chile”) is a professional soccer club based in Santiago, Chile, playing in the Primera División.

Along with Colo-Colo and Universidad Católica, La U is considered to be one of the “Big Three” clubs of Chilean soccer and has won fifteen Primera División titles.  The club recently won its first continental title when it triumphed in the 2011 Copa Sudamericana.

Universidad de Chile presented its adidas 2012 home and away kits to the public and media at the Centro Deportivo Azul last night in an elaborate event that included a ballet inspired by the club. The new blue home kit will be used for the first time when La U meets Uruguay’s Nacional tonight at the Estadio Nacional in a pre-season friendly.

The Universidad de Chile 2012 home and away jerseys include a gold star above the club’s badge (a red “U”) in recognition of its 2011 Copa Sudamericana title.
