Boca Juniors Nike Summer 2012 Kit / Camiseta

With summer in the Argentina and the rest of the Southern Hemisphere upon us, defending Argentine Primera División champions Boca Juniors have launched a Summer (or “Verano in Spanish) 2012 kit that will be used for the club’s matches during the early part of 2012.

The kit features a black and white striped jersey that is inspired by the shirt worn by the club when it was founded in 1905. It is expected to be worn in match play for the first time on Tuesday, January 17th when Boca meets San Lorenzo at the Estadio José M. Minella in Mar del Plata in the pre-season Torneo Verano Copa de Oro Elaion YPF 2012.

The Boca Juniors Nike 2011/12 home and away kits were launched during in July and September of 2011 respectively. They will continue to be used until the end of the upcoming Argentine season but have been updated to show the club’s main shirt sponsor as BBVA Francés instead of LG.
