Estudiantes de La Plata adidas 2012 Home Kit / Camiseta

After wearing kits from Topper from 2006 to 2011, popular Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata has signed a three-year deal with adidas.

The new sponsorship arrangement was announced during a press conference on Monday that was highlighted by the unveiling of the Estudiantes adidas 2012 home kit by current players Juan Sebastián Verón, Leandro Desábato and Rodrigo Braña.

The new strip with make its playing debut during the upcoming Torneo de Verano in Mar del Plata against Racing Club de Avellaneda on January 10th.

The new Estudiantes jersey features a golden star with the number “11” on its upper back in recognition of the club’s eleven titles. The star is encircled with the text  Estudiantes de la Patria (Students of the Homeland). The lower area at the back of the shirt is emblazoned with the club’s trademarked Campeón del Mundo (Champion of the World).
