Japan Women’s adidas 2012/13 Home Kit

The Japan Women’s adidas 2012/13 home kit was launched along with the new men’s home uniform earlier this week.

The Nadeshiko Japan 12/13 kit uses the same design as the men’s kit but does include a few minor modifications. These include:

– The use of a vertical pink stripe down the middle front of the women’s jersey as opposed to a red stripe on the men’s. The stripe featuees the text “all support for Japan”.

– A gold star above the Japan Football Association badge in recognition of the Japan Women’s team 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup title.
– The FIFA World Champions badge on the right breast area.

The Japan Women’s national soccer team is currently ranked third in the world by FIFA. Its next fixture is against Norway on February 29th, 2012 with a World Cup Final rematch with the USA scheduled for March 5th.
