Boca Juniors Nike Torneo Apertura 2011 Championship Jersey & T-Shirt

Storied Argentine club Boca Juniors won their first Primera Argentina championship since 2008 this past weekend. Technical sponsors Nike have since released a Boca Torneo Apertura 2011 Championship version of the club’s home jersey & celebratory t-shirt to commemorate the club’s 51st title in domestic and international competitions.

According to Nike:

After a brilliant campaign, without a loss in their last 27 matches, the legendary Boca Juniors of Argentina won their first championship title in a decade last weekend with a 3-0 victory over Banfield at “La Bombonera”. With two goals by Darío Cvitanich and one goal by Diego Rivero, Boca accumulated the 39 points needed to win the Championship, which will end in two weeks. To celebrate, Nike designed a special celebration tee (jersey), worn by the Boca team minutes after raising the Cup. 

Fans can personalize their celebratory tee (jersey) at Nike stores in Argentina to recognize the championship win. A Nike Sportswear inspired cotton tee was also designed for the championship win, expressing the beats of a Boca fan´s heart, with a special legend which reads “I will beat for you”, also available in Nike stores nationwide.

The Boca Juniors Nike 2011/12 home and away jerseys are now available at World Soccer Shop, The Onionbag and Subside Sports.
