Columbus Crew adidas 2012 Home and Away Jerseys / Kits

2008 MLS Cup champions and three-time Supporters’ Shield winners (2004, 2008, 2009) Columbus Crew have officially launched their adidas 2012 home and away kits. Both are now available at World Soccer Shop.

According to the Crew website:

The Columbus Crew today unveiled brand new jersey designs for the 2012 Major League Soccer season. In its 17th MLS campaign, the club will wear a new version of its traditional all yellow home jersey and a primarily white secondary jersey with black and yellow accents.

The move to white is a nod to the club’s early years, marking the first time since 1999 that white has been significantly incorporated into a jersey design. The retro look will remind longtime fans of the Crew’s three consecutive trips to the Eastern Conference Finals from 1997-99.

Meanwhile, the all yellow primary, or home jersey, has a familiar look, but with the notable addition of a collar.
