The United States Men’s National Soccer team fell 0-1 to Ecuador in an international friendly at Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on Tuesday night.
Substitute Jaimi Ayovi eluded marker Tim Ream to head the ball past USA goalkeeper Tim Howard in the 80th to give Ecuador the late, hard-fought win in front of a pro-Ecuador crowd of over 20,000.
The match was the United States fifth under Jürgen Klinsmann. The USA has registered one win, three losses and one tie with just two goals scored with the former German international and national team coach in charge.
