Cristiano Ronaldo led Real Madrid to a 6-2 win over newly promoted Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu on Saturday in Spanish La Liga action.
Ronaldo notched his opener in the 39th minute and converted penalty kicks in the 51st and 84th while Gonzalo Higuain, Raphael Varane and Karim Benzema score a goal apiece for the hosts.
Miguel “Michu” Perez Cuesta had given Rayo Vallecano a shock 0-1 lead after 12 seconds and added a second in the 55th minute.
