Atlético Paranaense Umbro 2011 Retro Jerseys / Camisas

Published on

Currently fighting to get out of the relegation zone of the 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Clube Atlético Paranaense has launched two new retro jerseys celebrating the club’s history.

The new Umbro shirts pay homage to the March 1924 merger of Internacional-PR and América-PR to form what is now Atlético Paranaense. As such, they feature the badges of all the original clubs that they represent (black and white for Internacional and red for América) along with the Atlético-PR badge.

The Atlético Paranaense Umbro 2011 home and away jerseys were launched in May. It is not uncommon for Brazilian soccer teams to release limited edition retro kits after the launch of their playing strips each year.
