Hosts New Zealand dominated Tonga to emerge 41-10 winners in the opening match of the 2011 Rugby World Cup in Auckland on Friday evening.

The IRB #1 ranked All Blacks remain favorites in the tournament as they seek to win their first World Cup since their 1987 title.
