Shakhtar Donetsk Nike 2011/12 Home Kit

FC Shakhtar Donetsk is a Ukrainian professional football club, playing in the city of Donetsk. The club is currently a powerhouse in Ukrainian soccer and won the 2009 UEFA Cup by defeating German team Werder Bremen 2-1 after extra time in the tournament final.

Shakhtar made it to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League during the 2010/11 season. The club met eventual champions FC Barcelona in the home and way series where it was defeated 6-1 on aggregate.

On Friday, the Shakhtar Donetsk 2011/12 squad and Nike home kit were presented to the club’s fan at its Donbass Arena. The new kit will be worn for the first time in match action when the team meets Obolon in the first round of the 11/12 UKrainian Premier League.
