Werder Bremen Nike 2011/12 Home and Away Jerseys / Trikots

Featuring Germany World Cup 2010 players Per Mertesacker, Marko Marin and Tim Wiese, Werder Bremen is currently one of the German Bundesliga’s most popular teams. However, the four-time league champions from Bremen in Northwest Germany finished the 2010/11 season in a disappointing 13th position.

With the new Bundesliga season in sight, Werder Bremen has officially launched its Nike 2011/12 home and away kits. According to the Werder website:

The Werder logo on the chest has a special attraction this season – with the interior including the message “LEBENSLANG GRÃœN WEISS” (“LIFE-LONG GREEN WHITE”) and plays on the individual identification of the team. The back and the sleeves retained the traditional Werder green and there is a small Werder diamond centrally located under the collar. The shorts are white and the socks complete the outfit in green.

Werder will play away matches in orange and dark green. The new away jersey is the same optically just that it has orange as a base colour. The shorts and the socks for this outfit are dark green. Just like the home jersey, the diamond symbol stands for innovation and pleasure of playing. The distinguishable design carries the traditional Werder diamond over the entire front of the new home and away jerseys.
