Atlético de Madrid 2011/12 Nike Home and Away Kits / Camisetas

2009/10 UEFA Europa League champions and Copa del Rey finalists Club Atlético de Madrid have unveiled their Nike home and away kits for the 2011/12 season.

The new Los Rojiblancos (The Red and Whites) kits were presented on Monday at la Sala Vip del estadio Vicente Calderón im Madrid. Current players Jorge Pulido, Saúl Ñíguez, Alberto Noguera, Andrés Muñoz and Fer López were on hand to model the Atletico Madrid 11/12 playing and training strips.

In recognition of Atletico’s 100th season using its famed red and white striped jerseys, the home kit features the text 1911-2011, 100 años de orgullo rojiblanco on its inner neck area.

Atlético de Madrid finished the 2010/11 Spanish La Liga season in 7th place and has qualified for the Third Qualifying Round of the 2011/12 UEFA Europa League. The club has been in the news lately amidst transfer speculation over star players Sergio Aguero, Diego Forlán and David de Gea.
