Ruud van Nistelrooy Málaga CF Official Presentation

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid  forward Ruud van Nistelrooy was officially presented as a Málaga CF player at the club’s La Rosaleda stadium on Thursday in front of over 10,000 fans.

The 34-year old former Dutch international joined the Spanish La Liga club from Hamburg SV on a one-year deal for an undisclosed sum and salary.

Málaga finished the 2010/11 La Liga season in 11th place. The club is owned by Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani of the Qatari ruling family and has been heavily investing in players over the past year. Other well-known signings by the club include former Brazil and Real Madrid attacker Julio Baptista and Argentina and former Bayern Munich defender Martín Demichelis.
