Palmeiras adidas 2011 Home and Away Kits / Camisas

Four time Brazilian champions Palmeiras launched their adidas 2011 home and away kits on Tuesday in São Paulo.

The green home kit is inspired by that worn by the club when it won the Copa Rio in 1951 while the white away jersey features a band across the chest and accents in Italian national colors in recognition of the club’s Italian roots. Palmeiras was founded as the Società Sportiva Palestra Italia by four members of São Paulo’s Italian community in 1914.

Currently Palmeiras players Kleber, Marcos Assunção, Pierre, Wellington Paulista, Deola, Bruno and Vinícius were on hand to model the new kit on Tuesday along with several Brazilian soccer babes.
