adidas Torfabrik – The Official Matchball of the 2011/12 German Bundesliga

Following this weekend’s conclusion of the German first and second tiers of soccer, adidas has launched the official matchball of the 2011/12 Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga – the Torfabrik.

The second iteration of the ball that was first used in during the 2010/11 season features new technology and coloring including a novel new 2D panel structure. Here is a look at the new matchball of one of Europe’s most exciting leagues along with video of it being tested.

The adidas Torfabrik will make its on the field debut during the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga pre-season in July.
