Olympique Marseille adidas 2011/12 Home and Away Kits / Maillots

Defending French Ligue 1 champion Olympique de Marseille unveiled its home and away kits for the 2011/12 season via its website on Sunday. Both are now available at World Soccer Shop.

The Olympique Marseille 11/12 home kit is in the club’s tradiional white and blue and features Marseille’s city shield on its inner neck area. It also has broad transverse bands of blue fading to white – a nod to jersey worn when Marseille won the 1993 UEFA Champions League title.

The away jersey is in what the club calls Italian Blue and has a blend of symbols representing the city of Marseille, the club and its supporters on its front.

The Olympique de Marseille adidas 2011/12 home kit will be worn when the club hosts Valenciennes FC at the Stade Vélodrome on May 21st in Ligue 1 action.
