Middlesbrough 2011/12 adidas Home Kit / Jersey

Middlesbrough have launched their 2011/12 adidas home kit. Once an English Premier League fixture, Boro will don this strip for their home games in the English Football League Championship for the new season as they attempt to make a return to the top flight of English soccer following their at the end of the 2008/09 season.

According to Middlesbrough’s website:

GOAL-MAD Boro will evoke memories of the most famous scoring achievement in their history when they pull on their new-look adidas home strip for this Saturday’s final game against Doncaster.

The retro-style red shirt sees a return for the white shoulder ‘yoke’ made famous by Boro’s all-time top scorer George Camsell when he scored 59 league goals during the 1926-27 promotion campaign.
