Real Salt Lake took a step closer to becoming the first Major League Soccer team to win the CONCACAF Champions League and participate in the FIFA World Club Cup via a 2-2 draw at Mexican Champions Monterrey on Wednesday night. The match was the first in the home and away series making up the Final of the 2010/11 CONCACAF Champions League.
The second leg of the series will be played on Wednesday, April 27th at RSL’s Rio Tinto Stadium where the Utah team owns a 34-game unbeaten streak in official competitions since May 2009.
