Second half goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Alexandre Pato gave league leaders AC Milan a 3-0 win over fellow title contenders SS Napoli on Monday night. The result leaves Milan with a five-point lead atop the Serie A table heading into Saturday’s meeting with Juventus.
Ibrahimovic scored from a penalty kick in the 49th minute after Napoli’s Salvatore Aronica handled the ball in the box. Boateng made the score 2-0 when he tapped in a Pato pass in the 77th. The Brazilian striker finished the scoring in the 79th on a solo effort that saw him beat two defenders and Napoli keeper Morgan de Sanctis.
