Club Alianza Lima is a Peruvian First Division (Primera División Peruana) football club from the La Victoria District of Lima, Peru. The club is one of the most popular and successful in Peru with twenty-two league titles and two Copa Libertadores semi-final appearance to its credit. Over the years, Alianza has featured well-known players such as Peruvian legend Teófilo Cubillas, Jefferson Farfán (now with Schalke 04) and Columbus Crew icon Gustavo Barros Schelotto.

Earlier this week, Alianza Lima unveiled its Nike 2011 away kit. The new strip was inspired by the club’s green and white home uniform of 1901 to 1911. In 1912 Alianza switched to its now familiar blue and white kit.

The Alianza Lima 2011 Nike away kit was used for the first time during Wednesday evening’s 3-2 pre-season win over Chile’s Universidad in the Copa Rosario in Argentina.
