Arguably Major League Soccer’s most well-known team outside the United States because of David Beckham and Landon Donovan being on their books, the Los Angeles Galaxy (or L.A. Galaxy) had the best record during the 2010 MLS regular season. However, the team was eliminated during the playoffs when it surprisingly fell 3-0 to FC Dallas in the Western Conference Final.
With a new team roster taking shape for next season, the L.A. Galaxy has unveiled its adidas 2011 home and away kits. The Galaxy’s 2011 home jersey is identical to last year’s but now incorporates two stars above the club’s badge in recognition of its two MLS Cup titles (2002 and 2005). The Galaxy 2011 away kit is brand new and is the second MLS shirt to use an adidas design first seen with the Seattle Sounders 2011 away jersey.
