Vålerenga Fotball is a Norwegian association football club from Oslo and a part of the multi-sport club Vålerengens IF. Founded in 1913, Vålerenga won the Norwegian Football Cup in November 2008 and is now bound for the qualification round of the 2011 UEFA Europa League following its 2nd place finish in the 2010 Norwegian Premier League or Tippeligaen.
CONCACAF soccer fans may recognize Vålerenga as the current club of Canadian international goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld and Jamaican forward Luton Shelton. The club has also featured Norweigian internationals John Carew, Tore André Flo, Steffen Iversen and Ronny Johnsen over the years.
Vålerenga Fotball unveiled its adidas 2011 home and away kits on Tuesday. Both jerseys appear to use the same design as the Chelsea FC 2010/11 adidas home shirt.
