Brescia Calcio is a football club based in Brescia, Italy. The club was formed in 1911 and currently plays in the Italian Serie A following their promotion from Serie B at the end of last season.
Brescia had its most successful Serie A period in the years before its relegation at the end of the 2004/05 season when it featured Italian legend Roberto Baggio. Former Spanish captain and current Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, Romanian Gheorghe Hagi, Italian national team striker Luca Toni, and current AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo have also spent time at Brescia.
On Wednesday, Bescia presented its Centenary logo and jersey at the Hotel Touring Coccaglio. The kit is made by Italian sportswear firm Mass Sport and will be used for Brescia’a home game against on of Brescia January 6, 2011. The centenary jersey features a sewn-on a vertical white band similar to that of the club’s 1912 shirt.
