The Colorado Rapids came from a goal down to win MLS Cup 2010 2-1 over FC Dallas in Toronto, Canada on Sunday night. Rapids frontman Conor Casey was named the match MVP.
The teams played a fairly even 90 minutes of regular time that saw Colombian midfielder David Ferreira put FCD up 1-0 in the 35th and USA international Casey equalize for the Rapids on a scrappy goal in the 57th. Colorado’s winner came in the 107th minute when substitute forward Macoumba Kandji’s shot deflected off Dallas defender George John and into the net.
