Former FIFA World Player of the Year (1999) and 2002 World Cup-winning midfielder Rivaldo has signed for modest Sao Paulo-based Mogi Mirim. The former Barcelona and AC Milan player played for the club from 1992 to 1993 and currently acts as the club’s president.
During his five-year stay at FC Barcelona (1997-2002) the now 38-year old former Brazil international won two Spanish La Liga crowns along with the Copa del Rey (1998).
After one year at AC Milan, Rivaldo played at Greek club Olympiakos from 2004-2007, AEK Athens in 2008 and Uzkek powerhouse FC Bunyodkor from 2008-2010.
