Cristiano Ronaldo scored four goals in Real Madrid’s 6-1 win over Racing Santander at the Bernabeu on Saturday. The Portuguese winger has now scored eleven goals in Real Madrid’s last eleven matches. Ronaldo’s four goals followed Gonzalo Higuain’s opener. Mesut Ozil deservedly completed the rout for Real before Papa Diop notched a consolation goal for the visitors.
The result sees Real Madrid remain atop the Spanish La Liga table after eight matches played with 20 points. Arch-rivals FC Barcelona are second on 19 points following their 2-0 win over Real Zaragoza earlier on Saturday.
