A full-strength Mexico was held to a 2-2 draw by upcoming Venezuela in an international friendly in Ciudad Juarez last night.

Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Juan Arango put Venezuela ahead twice with goals in the 6th and 33rd minutes. However, young stars Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Giovani dos Santos replied for Mexico in the 40th and 60th respectively.

Venezuelan defender Gabriel Cichero was sent off after 24 minutes for a second yellow card.
