Manchester United’s Wes Brown to Wear Concave Boots
Former England international and Manchester United defender has become the second Red Devils player to sign for up and coming soccer gear firm Concave Sports. Fans of Manchester United may have noticed that Brown has been wearing the recently released Concave PT+ Classic boots since the team’s summer tour of North America. Regulars of Football Fashion will be already familiar with the PT+ and Concave’s impressive 2010 catalog of footwear given that we’ve done reviews of all of the firm’s top of the line boots over the past few months.
According to a press release from Concave Sports:
Concave Sports announced today their signing of Premier League defender Wes Brown as a brand ambassador for their new technology football boots. Brown, a regular for Manchester United, is already wearing Concave’s latest boot model, the PT+ Classic, following a rigorous trial period during team practices and the team’s preseason tour of the United States earlier this year.
Since making his senior debut in 1998, Brown has become a regular first team player and has been described by Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, as “without question the best natural defender this club has had for years”. Equally comfortable at right back or centre back, Brown has also made 23 international appearances for England and was part of the 2002 FIFA World Cup squad in Japan.
As the latest England professional player to join with Concave, Wes Brown joins his fellow Manchester United teammate and Republic of Ireland international John O’Shea, as well as Portsmouth striker Danny Webber and Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns.
Brown’s choice of boot, PT+ Classic, sits at the top of the brand’s extensive range.
