Review: COPA Football Il Capitano T-Shirt

Inspired by some of the great Italian soccer jerseys of the past, the COPA Il Capitano is the one of the latest in the Dutch sportswear firm’s long line of eye-catching soccer t-shirts.

In the world famous Italian blue, the COPA Il Capitano features a screenprinted Italia badge with fours stars representative of the Azzuri’s four FIFA World Cup titles on its chest, the number 7 in classic footie numbering on its back and a novel captain’s armband on its left sleeve not seen on other t-shirts.

As with all COPA t-shirts, we found Il Capitano to be made of super soft and extremely comfortable cotton and to be of an almost perfect slim fit (particularly for those of us who regularly work out in the gym). As such, it’s certain to keep you cool and looking good for the rest of the summer and into the early Fall. Its obvious soccer look lets you make a statement about your love for the Beautiful Game without saying a word whether you don it to a match, on the pitch, at the pub or the beach.

Given the popularity of the Italian-American fuel Jersey Shore on MTV, the Il Capitano is also extremely apt for the times if you’re down with the Guido, fist-pumping culture.
