It’s not often that Scottish Premier League games not involving Celtic FC or Rangers garner much attention from the international soccer community. However, last night’s 12 goal thriller between Motherwell and Hibernian deserves a look.
What is even more impressive is that fifth-placed Hibernian were leading by a score of 6-2 after 65 minutes. However, fourth-placed Motherwell’s amazing four goal response tied the match to keep them in contention for the SPL’s second Europa League.
Motherwell now sit on 52 points after 37 games, one ahead of Hibs heading into Sunday’s final matchday of the season.
