Vélez Sársfield 2010 Centenary Penalty Third Kit / Camiseta

Based in the Liniers neighborhood of western Buenos Aires, the club’s last major success came when it won the Argentine Primera División during the La Torneo Clausura 2009.

In January, Vélez Sársfield launched their Penalty 2010 home and away kits. The kits are the club’s Centenary jerseys and possess a few features inspired by the club’s history.

Now Vélez Sársfield has launched its 2010 Centenary third kit.  Referred to as a “Camiseta Italiana” (Italian Jersey), the 2010 Velez third kit features a striped design in the national colours ot Italy. This is in recognition of the influence of Italian immigrants in club’s founding and early days.
