[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/Real_Madrid_6_Villarreal_2_Spanish_La_Liga_Highlights]Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo led Real Madrid to a resounding 6-2 victory over Villarreal earlier today to stay within two points of Spanish La Liga leaders FC Barcelona.

Ronaldo opened the scoring with a free kick after 18 minutes before contributing four more of his team’s goals.

After Kaka converted a penalty in the 21st, Gonzalo Higuain scored a brace on set up plays that included Ronaldo. The Portuguese winger then assisted on Kaka’s second and earned Real Madrid a penalty that was converted by Xabi Alonso.
