Brazil Nike World Cup 2010 Away Jersey / Kit / Camisa

[digg=http://digg.com/soccer/Brazil_Nike_World_Cup_2010_Away_Jersey_Kit_Camisa]Nike and the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol have officially launched the Brazil World Cup 2010 away jersey. This follows weeks of internet leaks featuring the Seleção’s  alternative shirt.

The Brazil Nike 2010/11  away jersey launch was spearheaded by Brazil international and Nike athlete Robinho and coincided with Carnaval celebrations in Salvador de Bahía – regarded as the heart African-Brazilian culture.

The new Nike Brazil away jersey is expected to see FIFA World Cup action on June 25th, 2010 when Brazil meets Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal in Durban, South Africa. Brazil has been deemed to be the “away” team for that match. However, its first on the field appearance may be in London, England on March 2nd when Dunga’s men take on the Republic of Ireland in a friendly.

As expected the Nike Brazil 2010/11 away kit is in the country’s traditional road color of blue. It’s the first Nike World Cup 2010 jersey that has been officially launched thus far.
