Video: Brazil 3 –Uruguay 1 (FIFA Under-20 World Cup 2009)

Brazil is through to the quarter-finals of the FIFA Under-20 World Cup 2009 following their 3-1 win over Uruguay earlier today.

Alan Kardec notched the opener for Brazil in the 22nd minute before Man of the Match Alex Teixeira scored a brace for the young Selecção with goals in the 24th and 31st minutes.

Jonathan Urretavizcaya kept matters interesting with La Celeste’s lone goal of the match in the 36th.

Brazil will now face the winner of today’s Germany – Nigeria match for a spot in the semi-finals.
