American goalkeeper Brad Guzan’s heroics last night won Aston Villa the 2009 Peace Cup as they beat Juventus 4-3 on penalties after 120 scoreless minutes of soccer.
The Italians, who beat Real Madrid 2-1 in Friday’s semi-final, and Villa both failed to convert a host of chances throughout the course of the match.
