Urawa Red Diamonds Nike 2011 Home and Away Kits

Urawa Red Diamonds is a professional football club playing in Japan’s J. League. It is one of Japan’s best supported teams boasting the highest average crowds for eight of the J-League’s sixteen seasons thus far. The club has never won a J. Leasgue title and finished last season in 10th position. However, the Reds did win the 2007 AFC Champions League and placed third in the subsequent 2007 FIFA Club World Cup.

On Wednesday, Urawa Red Diamonds presented their Nike 2011 kits for the upcoming J. League season. While reminiscent of the of the Manchester United 2010/11 home kit, the Nike design used for Urawa’s 2011 shirts appears to be new and may be used for some of Nike’s other clubs during the 2011/12 kit cycle.
