<\/a><\/p>\nWith this in mind, the inaugural drop of the Nike 10R City Collection highlights Ronaldhino\u2019s exploits at his first footballing homes: Porto Alegre and Paris.<\/p>\n
The silhouette, the LegendX, follows Ronaldhino\u2019s origins in small-sided play. \u201cI used to play in the streets all the time, 24\/7 with the ball on my feet. That helped me develop a bond with the ball,\u201d says Ronaldhino of his childhood. \u201cWe didn\u2019t have video games, Internet and all those types of distractions, so I was always playing. I really miss those times.\u201d<\/p>\n With skills learned on those streets, Ronaldhino gained a place in his boyhood club, his hometown\u2019s Gr\u00eamio FC. \u201cPorto Alegre is where I come from and where all my childhood friends remain. It\u2019s where I became a professional player, at Gr\u00eamio FC, a club I still support. My first titles and my first-ever appearance for Brasil all happened in Porto Alegre too,\u201d he shares.<\/p>\n From Porto Alegre, Ronaldhino joined PSG. \u201cParis was the first city I lived outside of Brasil,\u201d he says. And, while he succeeded at the club, Ronaldhino\u2019s time in the city of lights is memorable for his brace on June 21, 2002, and Brasil\u2019s FIFA World Cup title on June 30 in Yokohama.<\/p>\n Both shoes share a red, orange and yellow samba stitching. These represent family, music and joy, respectively.
