New Balance Football today officially revealed the latest\u00a0Celtic FC away jersey. The shirt is part of the \u2018Live the Legend\u2019 campaign for the 2017\/18 season, celebrating the club\u2019s 50th anniversary year since the iconic Lisbon Lions victory in the 1967 European Cup Final.<\/p>\n

It will be on sale in Elite Player and replica versions at\u00a0UK Soccer Shop<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0Kitbag<\/a>, Subside Sports<\/a>, Lovell Soccer<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0World Soccer Shop<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>along with\u00a0The Bhoys’ new home jersey<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Continuing the theme of taking inspiration from the Lisbon Lions team, the Celtic Football Club 17\/18 away shirt features a Verdant and Eden Green hoop design with gold NB branding and sponsor and is completed with a woven buttoned collar and gold trim shoulder seam.<\/p>\n

The kit pays tribute to the anniversary of the European Cup victory by featuring a special textured 50th anniversary gold crest. The two teams who competed in the 1967 final have been commemorated in the inner back neck of the jersey, where the green and white hoops of Celtic and the black and blue stripes of Inter Milan are featured.<\/p>\n

Richard Wright, General Manager of New Balance Football said \u201cThe contrasting green hoops look great on this year\u2019s away shirt, which contains all the cutting edge design tech of the home shirt and a smart fold down collar to finish it off. The Celtic’s 2017\/18 New Balance away kit is completed by Eden green shorts and Dark Green socks with a narrow gold trim. To offer added support to the ankle, the socks have built in comfort zones and the footbed has been developed with polypropylene to alleviate excess moisture when the foot makes contact with the boot.<\/p>\n

The new Celtic alternate goalkeeper kit has been engineered in line with the outfield players\u2019 jerseys, sporting a mock vent and back jacquard cage system to compliment the outfield kit aesthetic. The all black design with white crest, sponsor and NB branding has a strong look, completed by the tonal three colour sleeve pattern.<\/p>\n
