Barclay Premier League side Everton Football Club today revealed their 2017\/18 home kit from official outfitter Umbro. Released with the hashtag #TogetherBlue, the new Toffees shirt is the first\u00a0since the 2014\/15 season<\/a> to have no white or yellow detailing other than Umbro and shirt sponsor branding along with the club crest.<\/p>\n

It will be available in the lead up to the 17\/18 season at\u00a0World Soccer Shop<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Kitbag<\/strong><\/a>, Subside Sports<\/a>,\u00a0Lovell Soccer<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and UK Soccer Shop<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Everton FC:\u00a0The new design sees the Club return to the classic Umbro diamond graphic running down the sleeves and a contrasting diamond pattern featuring on the side of the shorts, combining the spirit of the past with the excitement of the future.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n The kit has been unveiled in a campaign entitled ‘Together Blue’ – celebrating the strong local contingent of players in the Everton squad.<\/em><\/p>\n

The #TogetherBlue campaign was inspired by the legacy of Dixie Dean, a local player, Evertonian and Club legend who scored an astonishing 383 goals in his 12 years at Goodison Park, including an unbeaten 60 league strikes in a single campaign.<\/em><\/p>\n

In honour of this, the design includes a Dixie Dean motif on the back of the neck, as chosen by Evertonians earlier this season in a fan vote through the Club\u2019s official Fans\u2019 Forum.<\/em><\/p>\n

The local connection remains evident in Everton\u2019s modern philosophy and, to help launch the 2017\/18 home kit, first team players, and local lads, Ross Barkley, Leighton Baines and Tom Davies were joined by Under-23 players and Premier League 2 winners Jonjoe Kenny and Joe Williams to proudly reveal their own stories of growing up as Blues in a reveal video.<\/em><\/p>\n

Designed to aid performance, the \u2018pique fabric\u2019 on the main body of the shirt offers a classic look, comfort and durability for the players while the ergonomically structured mesh in the underarm area helps with breathability.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nThe white shorts also have a running diamond graphic which features in contrast side panels and the woven fabric offers extra movement and an improved fit. The white performance socks have a comfortable cotton footbed and a contrast blue stripe with the Umbro logo to complete the kit.<\/em><\/p>\n
