It uses River’s traditional white base and is adorned with the club’s famous red sash. The jersey is further detailed in red through its v-neck collar, adidas shoulder stripes, sleeve cuffs and piping on its shoulders. The sponsor logo that appeared on the upper right breast of the 1986 kit is absent however. <\/p>\n
The River Plate crest used in 86 has been replaced with the latest version of the Buenos Aires giants badge. The adidas logo on the left breast is the classic adidas Trefoil that was a fixture on the German company’s gear from 1971 to 1997.<\/p>\n
