Early season Barclays Premier League table-toppers Manchester City Football Club today unveiled their 2016\/17 Nike third kit with modeling from their fans.<\/p>\n

The new Citizens change kit will be worn during City’s UEFA Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup runs over the course of the next eight months. It will be available at World Soccer Shop<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0UK Soccer Shop<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Subside Sports<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kitbag<\/a><\/strong> along with team’s latest home<\/a> and and away<\/a> shirts.<\/p>\n

The Man City 16\/17 third kit continues Nike’s trend of using its cutting edge AeroSwift design for its the bigger clubs and national federations that it has technical partnerships with.<\/p>\n

\"Manchester<\/a><\/p>\n

According to City: Combining a bold violet with orange, City will sport this distinctive look for the first time against Swansea City in the third round of the English Football League Cup, as well as on their travels in the Champions League and FA Cup, for the remainder of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Violet first appeared on City\u2019s 1992 away shirt and also featured in the 2007-08 and 2014-15 versions. This season, orange horizontal lines overlay the shirt\u2019s violet base.<\/p>\n

Accompanied by violet shorts, the eye-catching kit is completed with socks that replicate the colour combination of the new shirt and the Club\u2019s history is also referenced with \u2018CITY\u2019 and \u2018EST 1894\u2019 stitching on the back of the collar and on the inside of the cuffs.<\/p>\n

A black stripe also runs along each flank of the shirt and shorts, which expands with movement to provide enhanced ventilation, while the sock offers additional cushioning around the toes, ankle and heel to provide players with superior comfort.<\/em><\/p>\n
