Nike and the Korea Football Association today unveiled the South Korea 2016\/17 home and away kits. They will be worn by the Taegeuk Warriors during their 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualification run and international friendlies over the next year.<\/p>\n

Both jerseys will be available at\u00a0World Soccer Shop<\/a>,\u00a0Subside Sports<\/a><\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>Lovell Soccer<\/a>,\u00a0UK Soccer Shop<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and Kitbag<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>starting on March 24, 2016.<\/p>\n

Nike says that the new kits are designed to evoke the South Korea National Team\u2019s fierce moniker of the Taegeuk Warriors. They feature a linear front graphic that are separated by a subtle diagonal band. The shirts use a new Nike v-neck design that the American sportswear giant debuted in the recent slew of national team kit releases.<\/p>\n

The South Korea 2016\/17 Nike home jersey showcases the country\u2019s traditional red, while the white away kit celebrates the dress of the storied Hwarang. The sides of the kits also feature striking blue stripes that run the length of the shirt and short. The stripes expand playes are in motion to maximize ventilation and reveal bold flashes of underlying yellow (home kit) and red (away kit). Blue home socks and red away socks highlight the most dynamic part of the footballer\u2019s body, the lower legs, to accentuate speed.<\/p>\n
